Onguard Flea and Tick Treatment

Living in the Sunshine state we don’t get much of a break from the fleas and ticks, and this is bothersome not only to me but Ariel as well, We use preventive measures inside and out but during the Spring and Summer it seems like fleas are nefarious and know little tricks to avoid whatever we use, Our second line of defense is Flea Medicine and that seems to help keep these little buggers at bay until the next treatment, which we must be diligent about, we can never skip a month, keeping up and using it is our only hope along with constant vacuuming and just for extra measure we put a flea collar inside the dirt chamber of the vacuum cleaner.

However, there are other brands and  treatments out there that will surely suit your needs  and those can be found here at Dog Product Picker

Our only concern is that we don’t allow our Dog and/or Cats to become so overwhelmed with fleas that drastic procedures are needed

Did you know?

Fleas can pull 160,000 times their own weight, which is the same as you pulling 2,679 double-decker buses. A flea can jump 30,000 times without stopping. Fleas don’t have ears and are virtually blind. The average flea is between2mm and 3mm long and weighs about 0.03g.

Undisturbed and without a blood meal, a flea can live more than 100 days. On average, they live for two to three months. Female fleas cannot lay eggs until after their first blood meal and begin to lay eggs within 36-48 hours after that meal.
